Explanation of Responses:
( 1)	Includes grant of 825 restricted stock units, which vest on March 31, 2017. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of common stock of Ryerson Holding Corporation.
( 2)	On August 17, 2015, the reporting person was granted 3,480 restricted stock units, of which 1,500 vested on August 31, 2015 and 660 vested on August 17, 2016. Of the remaining unvested restricted stock units, 660 vest on August 17, 2017 and 660 vest on August 17, 2018. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person not later than 60 days following such vesting dates.
( 3)	Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of common stock of Ryerson Holding Corporation.
