Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS.LN) said Thursday that NatWest Markets' Chief Executive Chris Marks and Chief Financial Officer Richard Place have stepped down from their roles at the investment arm of the bank.
The majority-state-owned bank said a search for permanent successors has begun. It added that RBS's Treasury Finance Director Robert Begbie will work as NatWest Markets' interim chief financial officer.
The Scottish lender said that Mr. Marks has also stepped down as chairman, and Mr. Place as a member of NatWest Markets NV's supervisory board.
Mr. Marks will remain with RBS until June and Mr. Place until March.
