LONDON--Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS.LN) Friday priced two note issues worth $1 billion, which it will use for general corporate purposes.
The 81% Government owned bank is issuing $700 million of three-year 1.875% senior notes and $300 million floating rate notes both due March 31, 2017.
Shares at 0945 GMT up 7 pence, or 2.32%, at 309 pence in a higher FTSE 100 Index--up 0.54%.
