Sean Wieland Joins Piper Jaffray as Senior Research Analyst

pleased to announce that Sean Wieland has joined the firm as a senior research
analyst covering health care services. He will be based in the firm's San
Francisco office.

Wieland has more than 13 years of experience in the health care information
technology industry. Before joining Piper Jaffray, he worked as a senior
analyst with W.R. Hambrecht in San Francisco. For seven years prior to that, he
was a software analyst and sales executive with IDX Systems Corporation in San
Francisco. He holds both a master's degree in business administration and a
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont.
