NEW YORK, May 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to
announce that Raj Denhoy has joined the firm as a vice president and senior
research analyst in healthcare covering orthopedic, dental and diversified
medical technology companies.  Denhoy will be based in the firm's New York
office.

Denhoy joins Piper Jaffray most recently from J.P. Morgan Securities in New
York, where he was an associate research analyst covering orthopedic companies
and part of the #1 Institutional Investor-ranked medical technology team. 
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Denhoy spent four years as a research associate covering
medical technology at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. He earned
his bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of California in
Berkeley, Calif.  In addition, Denhoy has a master of science degree in human
physiology from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and a masters of
business administration degree from the Johnson Graduate School of Management
at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
