Piper Jaffray Promotes Michael Cox to Senior Research Analyst 


MINNEAPOLIS, March 30  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased
to announce the promotion of Michael Cox to vice president and senior research
analyst, covering hardlines retail companies.  Cox is located in the Minneapolis
headquarter office.

Cox was previously a research analyst at Piper Jaffray in hardlines retail for
the past year.  Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, he worked in research at RBC
Capital Markets in Minneapolis and at Edward D. Jones & Co., in St. Louis, Mo. 
Cox earned his bachelor of science degree in finance from Iowa State University
in Ames, Iowa and his master's of business administration degree from the
Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
