Piper Jaffray Promotes Jesse Pichel to Senior Research Analyst



NEW YORK, May 24  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to
announce that Jesse Pichel has been promoted to senior research analyst
covering companies within the electronics manufacturing, wafer consumables and
materials handling segments of the semiconductor space.  This represents an
expansion of the Piper Jaffray technology research platform.  Pichel is based
out of the firm's New York office.

Pichel has covered the electronics manufacturing space for three years and was
a research analyst with Needham & Company before joining Piper Jaffray. Prior
to that, he was a vice president and senior research analyst with C.E.
Unterberg, Towbin focused on hardware and business services.  Pichel holds a
master's in business administration from Fordham University and a bachelor of
science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca.
