Piper Jaffray Hires T. Michael Walkley as Senior Research Analyst



MINNEAPOLIS, May 7  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to
announce that T. Michael (Mike) Walkley has joined the firm as a senior
research analyst covering wireless communications equipment companies. He will
be based out of the firm's Minneapolis headquarters office.

Walkley joins Piper Jaffray from RBC Capital Markets where he was a top ranked
senior analyst for four years.  He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and
spent four years at Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, Ga., as a senior accountant
before beginning his Wall Street career at Raymond James in St. Petersburg,
Fla., where he served as an associate analyst covering telecommunications
equipment.

Walkley graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in
Charlottesville, Va., with a bachelor's degree in commerce and a concentration
in accounting.  In addition, he graduated with honors from the University of
Chicago, receiving his master's degree in business administration.
