SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is
pleased to announce that Cobb Sadler has joined the firm as a vice president
and senior research analyst covering data networking and wireline equipment.
Sadler is based out of the firm's San Francisco office.

Sadler joins Piper Jaffray from Banc of America Securities in New York, where
he served as an associate analyst on the data networking and wireline equipment
team. Prior to Banc of America Securities, he served as a special projects
financial analyst at CIENA Corporation in Linthicum, Md.  Sadler earned a
bachelor's degree in commerce and business administration as well as a master's
degree in business administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
 He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
