Darren Lehrich Joins Firm as Senior Research Analyst Covering Health Care
Facilities 


NEW YORK, Feb. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to
announce that Darren Lehrich has joined the firm as a managing director and
senior research analyst covering health care facilities. Lehrich will be based
in the firm's New York office. His coverage area is comprised of a variety of
healthcare service sub-sectors, including: the acute hospital, ambulatory
surgery, outpatient dialysis, long-term/post-acute care and specialty healthcare
services industries.

Lehrich joins Piper Jaffray from SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, a division of
SunTrust Capital Markets, where he served as a director in equity research since
2001. Prior to that, Lehrich was a senior analyst at ING Barings LLC. Before
working on Wall Street, Lehrich served in a practice management role in the
ambulatory care division at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, working with
several of the hospital's prominent medical oncology practices.

Lehrich received his master's of business administration degree in management
from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., and his bachelor of science
degree in health policy and administration from Pennsylvania State University in
University Park, Pa.
