Item 2.02	Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On February 23, 2017 , Parsley Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) announced its financial and operating results for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2016 .  A copy of the Company’s news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
