FAIRFIELD, N.J., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Prime Hospitality Corp.

Ltd., operator of The Points Exchange, to allow Prime Rewards members to
exchange points for merchandise and additional airline miles.
While Prime Rewards members already receive airline miles for dollars spent at
AmeriSuites, Wellesley Inns & Suites and Prime Hotels & Resorts, participation
in The Points Exchange expands their choices for airline miles and also allows
them to exchange points for merchandise and other retail items. Online retail
participants in the program include American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic,
Barnes & Noble, eBay (Anything Points), Eddie Bauer, JCPenney, JCrew, Macys,
Spiegel, Starbucks, The Home Depot and Williams Sonoma. Through the
user-friendly points.com website, members can also make exchanges for gift
certificates and track their account balances in other loyalty programs.
Partner airline programs include Air Canada (Aeroplan), Alaska Airlines
(Mileage Plan), America West Airlines (FlightFund(R)), American Airlines (the
AAdvantage(R) program), Delta Air Lines (Sky Miles(R)), US Airways (Dividend
Miles) and others.
"In looking for ways to make the Prime Rewards program as competitive and
attractive as possible, we wanted to offer our members the opportunity to
further leverage their points and miles," said Jim Gard, Prime's Vice President
of Marketing Services. "We have steadily added service providers to our own
loyalty program, with whom our members can redeem points and miles, and now we
have greatly expanded their options through our participation in The Points
Exchange."
"The Points International team is delighted to welcome Prime Hospitality to our
growing list of partners on the Points Exchange," said Rob MacLean, CEO of
Points International. "With the millions of members of our other loyalty
program partners in the Exchange, this new relationship offers exciting
benefits and added utility for Prime Rewards members, and continues the
successful acquisition of important new partner relationships for Points."
