Petrobras on record for S-10 Diesel and Asphalt

Rio de Janeiro, November 10, 2020 - Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras informs that it has broken the S-10 Diesel sales record for the second consecutive month. In October, the company sold 2.01 million cubic meters, 4.8% above the previous record, in September of this year, when sales reached 1.91 million cubic meters. Also in October, the company recorded total Diesel sales of 4.0 million m³, representing a growth of 6.3% when compared to the same period in 2019.

The record sales of the S-10 Diesel and the growth in total Diesel sales reflect the commercial actions implemented by the company to mitigate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on fuel demand and the successful efforts to expand the supply of the product with lower sulfur content, replacing the S-500 Diesel.

In October, Petrobras' asphalt sales were also record-breaking, reaching 265,000 tons, the highest monthly volume since November 2014
