Item 8.01.                                        Other Events.

 

On August 25, 2015, the Board of Directors of Nabors Industries Ltd. (the “Company”) authorized management to repurchase, from time to time, up to $400 million of the Company’s common shares by various means, including, without limitation, open market transactions and privately negotiated transactions. This authorization does not have an expiration date and does not obligate the Company to repurchase any of its common shares.  Common shares repurchased by the Company are expected to be held by a subsidiary of the Company.
