3M Company (MMM) closed at $171.47, up $7.10 or 4.32%

-- Highest close since Nov. 15, 2019, when it closed at $171.88

-- Largest percent increase since Oct. 24, 2017, when it rose 5.91%

-- Earlier Friday, Bloomberg reported that 3M Co. is exploring the sale of its drug delivery systems business. The Bloomberg report, which cited people with knowledge of the matter, said the drug delivery business could be valued at about $1 billion

-- Down 33.7% from its all-time closing high of $258.63 on Jan. 26, 2018
