Solvay SA said Tuesday that it signed a five-year deal with Lockheed Martin Corp. to provide materials for the American defense company's F-35 military aircraft.
The Belgian chemical company said the deal extends its partnership with Lockheed Martin, under which Solvay supplies more than 50 products used in the F-35 program, including structural composites and adhesives. Lockheed Martin makes the F-35 aircraft for the U.S. military.
The new contract will be managed by Solvay and its U.S.-based subsidiary CDM, the company said.
No financial details of the contract were disclosed.
