Effective January 1, 2013, the Fund will use the S&P Municipal Bond 7 Day High Grade Rate Index in determining the Maximum Applicable Rate for each of its Series M, Series T, Series W, Series TH and Series F Auction Preferred Stock (“APS”). This index replaces the S&P 30 Day High Grade Rate Index, which S&P is terminating effective January 1, 2013. The Fund has notified S&P of its intent to use the S&P Municipal Bond 7 Day High Grade Rate Index and has received written confirmation from S&P that the use of this index will not adversely affect the current AAA rating of the Fund’s APS.
