Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. & Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. Announce Subsequent Round of Partial Redempt...

Each of Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DSM) and Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. (NYSE: LEO) today called for the partial redemption, at par value on a pro-rata basis by series in the amounts and on the dates indicated below, of the Funds’ auction rate preferred securities (“ARPS”).* The Board of each Fund previously had authorized the redemption of up to 25% of its outstanding ARPS.

DSM is redeeming $7.575 million of its originally issued and outstanding $186 million of ARPS. To date, DSM has redeemed and/or called for redemption an aggregate of $44.1 million of its ARPS (including the ARPS noted in the following chart).
