ING Bank N.V. said it has named Krista Baetens as chief executive of its wholesale banking business in Asia Pacific, effectively immediately.
Ms. Baetens, whose most recent posting was as ING's chief risk officer in Belgium, will be based in Singapore and will report to Isabel Fernandez, the bank's global head of wholesale banking, the Netherlands-based bank said Wednesday.
Ms. Beatens will be in charge of driving the wholesale strategy for Asia Pacific and will be responsible for the performance of the wholesale banking business across 14 markets in the region, the bank said.
