Generac Power Systems Responding to Heavy Demand for Backup Power in Wake of Hurricane Irma

WAUKESHA, Wis., Sept. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As Hurricane Irma bears down on Florida, Generac Power Systems is rushing additional generators and pumps into the affected areas. The company has increased production to ensure there are generators available for customers facing extended power outages in the wake of the storm.

"We have pre-staged inventory at distribution centers throughout the southeast that has been shipping all week," said Aaron Jagdfeld, president and CEO of Generac.
