(JMEI) plunged 16% to $9.91, e-commerce platform Wowo Ltd. (WOWO) skidded 16% to $5.90.

The biggest decliners also included ADRs of mining and metals producers. BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP, BHP.AU) fell 7.2% to $32.18 and BHP Billiton PLC (BBL, BLT.LN) dropped 7.6% to $30.50. Rio Tinto PLC (RIO, RIO.LN, RIO.AU) decreased 5.1% to $34.14. Vale SA (VALE, VALE3.BR, VALE5.BR, VALE5.FR) fell 8.8% to $4.33. Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (ACH, K3HD.SG) tumbled 7.2% to $7.72.

Among major oil companies, BP PLC (BP, BP.LN) retreated nearly 6% to $31.19, Eni SpA (E, ENI.MI) dropped 4.4% to $30.70, Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA, RDSA.LN) declined 5.2% to $49.73 and Total SA (TOT, FP.FR) decreased 4.9% to $43.77.
