Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund Annual Meeting of Shareholders

BOSTON, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held on March 14, 2011, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (the "Fund") (NYSE: EVT), a closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Fund on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. (EST). The meeting will be held at the principal office of the Fund, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110.  Proxy materials will be mailed on or about April 25, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 11, 2011.  Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of two Class II Trustees of the Fund.
