                     Starsky & HutchTM UK Sales Performance

Empire, a leading AIM listed UK computer games developer and publisher, today
confirms that Starsky & HutchTM successfully launched in the UK on Sony
PlayStation(R) 2 ("PS2"), Microsoft(R) XboxTM ("Xbox") and PC on 20th June.

In its first full week of retail sales Starsky & HutchTM has achieved the Number
4 position in the official UK PS2 Game Charts produced by Chart-Track.

Ian Higgins, CEO of Empire, said: "We are obviously delighted at the performance
of Starsky & HutchTM.  Our great belief in the quality and mass-market appeal of
the Starsky & HutchTM franchise has now been vindicated by the published chart
figures.  This bodes very well for the September launch in the US, which is both
the world's largest video games market and the territory in which Starsky &
HutchTM was created".
