DaVita Honors 54 Nephrology Nurses with DAISY Awards

Award celebrates excellence in nursing, underscoring the kidney care provider's commitment to recognizing the indelible impact of clinicians on outstanding patient care

The award is part of The DAISY Foundation's mission to recognize nurses who provide outstanding, compassionate care in more than 6,500 health care facilities nationwide.

The DAISY Foundation™ was established in memory of J. Patrick Barnes by members of his family. Patrick died at the age of 33 in 1999 from complications of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), a little-known but not uncommon auto-immune disease.
