DaVita Announces Agreement to Acquire a Prominent Medical Group in Orlando Area

ORLANDO, Fla., May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita HealthCare Partners (NYSE: DVA), a leading independent medical group in the United States and leading global provider of kidney care services, announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Family Health Care of Central Florida, a highly reputable primary care group serving the Orlando metro area for more than 30 years. The transaction is expected to close in the near future. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Family Health Care of Central Florida serves thousands of patients in the Orlando metro area. The medical group has 13 providers and more than 70 teammates.
