Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Monday that two weeks of planned maintenance got underway Saturday at an unspecified process unit at its joint-venture refinery in Chalmette, La. The work will have a slight impact on production but customer needs will be met, a spokesman said.
A process unit upset at Tesoro Corp's. (TSO) oil refinery in Anacortes, Washington, resulted in visible flaring, the company said Monday according to a local news report on KIROTV.com.
