                     Resignation of Chief Executive Officer





The Board of Directors of Crown Corporation ("Crown" of "the Company") announces
that Wolfgang K Menzel has resigned as Chief Executive Officer with immediate
effect.  Mr Menzel has taken this decision due to health reasons.  The Board
wishes to thank him for his contribution, particularly towards the recent
listing of the Company on the Alternative Investment Market in the UK.
Executive Chairman Dr. Mariusz Rybak will take over Mr Menzel's duties until a
new Chief Executive Officer is appointed.
