BorgWarner Powers 2007 Car, Truck of the Year

The awards were announced yesterday during the opening press preview day of the North American International Auto Show.

The Saturn Aura XE, a premium mid-sized sedan for the family-car market, features BorgWarner's quiet and efficient HY-VO(R) transmission chain, two transmission bands, and a one-way clutch for its four-speed transmission. In addition, the 3.5L V6 model features a BorgWarner timing system and variable cam timing (VCT) system.

With the highest EPA fuel economy of any full-size pickup truck, Chevy Silverado models feature BorgWarner HY-VO(R) transfer case chain and a variety of automatic transmission components including friction plates, bands, one-way clutches, and pressure control solenoids. Plus, BorgWarner engine thermal management components are featured on the Duramax diesel, 6.0L gas and 8.1L gas engines.
