BorgWarner Pledges $100,000 Toward Relief Efforts in Japan

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global powertrain supplier BorgWarner will donate $100,000 to the Red Cross toward disaster relief for the survivors of the recent earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan. In addition, the company will match all donations from its employees around the world.

BorgWarner operates five facilities in Japan, including a plant with its joint venture partner, NSK-Warner. All BorgWarner employees and NSK-Warner associates working and traveling in Japan are believed to be safe, and none of BorgWarner's facilities have been damaged.
