London-listed shares in SDX Energy Inc. (SDX.V) fell after it said talks to buy a package of assets from BP PLC (BP.LN) in Egypt have ended by mutual agreement.
As the acquisition has been canceled, the company said trading of its shares on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange has resumed.
The company said it continues to review and pursue growth opportunities across its areas of operations in North Africa.
Shares at 0736 GMT were down 4.4% at 55 pence.
