BARCELONE (Agefi-Dow Jones)--BP a annoncé mardi avoir conclu un partenariat avec Microsoft afin de poursuivre la transformation numérique des systèmes énergétiques et de progresser vers l'objectif "zéro carbone" des deux entreprises.
Dans le cadre de cet accord, BP fournira à Microsoft des énergies renouvelables afin de permettre au groupe technologique américain d'atteindre ses objectifs en matière d'énergies vertes pour 2025.
"BP fournira des énergies renouvelables à Microsoft dans plusieurs pays et régions, notamment aux Etats-Unis, en Europe et en Amérique latine", a indiqué BP.
En outre, dans le cadre de son partenariat avec Microsoft, BP a prolongé un accord portant sur l'utilisation des services d'informatique dématérialisée, ou "cloud", de Microsoft Azure.
