Bladex Announces Quarterly Dividend Payment for Second Quarter 2009

PANAMA CITY, July 16  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A. (Bladex) (NYSE:BLX) announced today a quarterly cash dividend of US$0.15 per share, corresponding to the second quarter of 2009.

The cash dividend was approved by the Board of Directors and is payable on August 3, 2009 to the Bank's stockholders as of the July 23, 2009 record date.

As of June 30, 2009, Bladex had 36,504,685.59 common shares outstanding of all classes.
