Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (BK) unveiled streamling plans that include a new markets group that combines its global markets, global collateral services and prime services units.
Curtis Arledge, BNY Mellon's chief executive of BNY Mellon Investment Management, will add oversight of the markets group to his responsibilities. Kurt D. Woetzel, who currently heads the collateral services business was named president of the markets group.
BNY Mellon Investment Services will be led by Brian T. Shea, currently investment services president, in addition to his role as head of client service delivery and client technology solutions.
Tim Keaney, vice chairman and CEO of Investment Services, said he will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities on Sept. 30.
Chief Risk Officer Brian Rogan and CEO of Global Markets Art Certosimo plan to retire at year end.
