B&G Foods Announces Public Offering of Common Stock

B&G Foods, Inc. (NYSE:BGS) announced today its intention to offer 4,200,000 shares of its common stock, pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

B&G Foods expects to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the repayment or retirement of a portion of B&G Foods’ long-term debt or future acquisitions, if any.
