American Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, today announced Paul Gagliardo, M.P.H., P.E., manager of Innovation Development, will participate in the Israel-California Water Conference on June 29 in Los Angeles, Calif.

Gagliardo will join other industry leaders on a panel to discuss the opportunities available for companies of the Israeli delegation to partner with the U.S. market, to clarify the main barriers to entry into the U.S. market and to describe the current challenges of the water industry. He will also highlight American Water’s Innovation Development Process.

The Israel-California Water Conference aims to promote a comprehensive and practical approach toward a sustainable water future for California. By bringing together leaders from the California and Israeli business communities, government authorities, academia, and a wide spectrum of water technology experts, the conference hopes to accelerate technology partnerships, explore project finance models and promote policy initiatives that will position California as a leader in water stewardship.
