NEW ALBANY, Ohio, May 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) today reported that, after receiving expressions of interest, it is in preliminary discussions with several parties regarding a potential transaction with the company.

There can be no assurance these discussions will lead to a definitive agreement or that a transaction will be consummated. 

The company does not intend to make any further comments on the discussions until they are concluded.
