ITEM 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure

On December 19, 2016, Alaska Air Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the separation of the Company's marketing and codeshare agreement with Delta Air lines, Inc. ("Delta"). The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2.

Pursuant to 17 CFR Part 243 (“Regulation FD”), the Company is also submitting information related to the separation of the marketing and codeshare agreement with Delta in an Investor Update attached as Exhibit 99.1.

In accordance with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the information under this item shall not be deemed filed for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), nor shall such information be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
