LONDON--Serco Group PLC (SRP.LN), a international service company, said Monday it has signed a contract for an outsourcing partnership that will provide customer contact and support services for AEGON (AGN).
MAIN FACTS:
-The contract will commence on Nov. 1 and has a total estimated value to Serco over the 10-year initial term of 170 million pounds.
-Under this new partnership Serco will operate primarily from AEGON's offices in Lytham St Annes.
-Serco shares closed Friday at 565 pence, valuing the company at GBP2.8 billion.
