NEW YORK, Aug. 2  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) opened trading today on Merrill Lynch's Accelerated Return Bear Market Notes Linked to the Russell 2000 Index.

Priced at $10.00 per unit with an initial offer size of 5,300,000 shares, this equity trades under the ticker symbol RTX and has a maturity date of October 7, 2008.
