Zoom Video Communications Inc. lowered its full-year outlook after its second-quarter revenue was hit by the strong dollar and its online business performance.
The video communications platform company guided for revenue between $4.385 billion and $4.395 billion, down from previous guidance issued in May of $4.53 billion to $4.55 billion.
Zoom guided for adjusted earnings per share for the year between $3.66 and $3.69, compared with its prior outlook of between $3.70 and $3.77 per share.
For its third quarter, Zoom guided for revenue between $1.095 billion and $1.10 billion. Adjusted earnings per share are expected to be between 82 cents and 83 cents.
Analysts polled by FactSet had expected third-quarter sales to be around $1.15 billion with adjusted earnings per share of 92 cents.
