Heinz Pfannschmidt, president, Europe and South America, will speak at the
Automobile Electronics 2004 Congress on June 15, 2004, in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Automobile Electronics 2004 will focus on advances in automotive electronics
and will include a panel discussion on system stability and
electrical/electronics problems. Pfannschmidt will deliver the conference's
opening presentation to automotive and software technology industry experts at
9:15 a.m. His presentation, titled "Challenges in Electrics and Electronics -
The Supplier Perspective," will examine the impact of growing
electrical/electronics complexity, as well as research and development
processes, design expertise and tools.
With more than 30 years of experience, Pfannschmidt is an expert in automotive
electronics. He holds a doctorate in electronics, as well as degrees in
electrical engineering and experimental physics from the Technical University
in Braunschweig, Germany. As president of Europe and South America for
Visteon, Pfannschmidt is responsible for the Visteon Customer Business Groups
that interface with automakers headquartered in Europe and South America, and
has regional responsibility for Visteon's manufacturing operations.
The conference, June 15-16 at Forum am Schlosspark Convention Centre in
Ludwigsburg, Germany, is organized by Verlag Moderne Industrie Information
