Public Television 'Leaders on Leadership' Series Sunday, April 18 


DEARBORN, Mich., April 16  /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation  Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer Peter J. Pestillo is scheduled to appear on the Detroit
Public Television weekly series "Leaders on Leadership" at 5:30 p.m. EDT
Sunday, April 18, on WTVS Channel 56.

The half-hour program will consist of an interview of Pestillo, followed by a
question-and-answer session with an audience of students from the Wayne State
University School of Business Administration.  Hosting the program will be
Larry Fobes, director of the business school's Institute for Organizational and
Industrial Competitiveness.

The "Leaders on Leadership" series aims to explore the "craft of excellent
leadership" through interviews with chief executives from a variety of
corporations and organizations.  The program allows undergraduate and graduate
students at the WSU program to interact with chief executives such as Pestillo,
helping them gain insight into business leadership.

Pestillo has been chairman and CEO of Visteon since Jan. 1, 2000. Previously he
was vice chairman and chief of staff for Ford Motor Company, where he spent 20
years in leadership positions.  Visteon spun off from Ford in 2000.  Before
joining Ford, Pestillo was vice president, corporate and employee relations for
B.F. Goodrich and held industrial relations positions with General Electric
Company.
