Visteon Appoints New Director of Product Development for Asia
Pacific
SHANGHAI, China, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of an effort to expand its
capabilities in the growing Asia Pacific region, Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC)
has named Daniel Linder to the position of director of product development,
Asia Pacific. Based in Shanghai, China, Linder will guide Visteon's technical
capabilities to support new business opportunities in the region, and will
facilitate coordination with Visteon's network of global engineering centers.

expanded our engineering capability and systems expertise," said John Kill,
vice president of Product Development. "Dan's background and experience allow
us to continue delivering the quality and innovation that our customers in Asia
have come to expect, while we continue to penetrate new customers and expand
our business both locally and globally."
Linder will be responsible for leveraging Visteon's engineering capabilities
and systems expertise while coordinating regional product line activities with
an emphasis on Asia business development.

Linder began his career at Ford in 1986 as a manufacturing engineer. In 1999
he was named managing director, Visteon/Ford Hungary. Linder most recently was
product planning director, Visteon Powertrain, based in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Linder holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State
University and a master's in business administration from University of
Michigan.
