                             Big Revenues Surge at
                             The Wireless Group plc

The Wireless Group today issued a trading update for the months of September,
October and November saying it had increased revenues year on year by 24%.

Revenues for talkSPORT, the UK's largest audience commercial radio station, were
up 28% in September, 42% in October and 38% in November compared to the
comparable periods in 2002. The local radio operations reported revenue
increases of 11% in September, 23% in October and 19% in November.

Kelvin MacKenzie, Chairman & Chief Executive, said: "These very strong
performance figures speak for themselves. The Sales Director is whistling which
is always a good sign."
