On June 24, 2016, Tantech Holdings Ltd (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing the signing of an Equity Purchase Agreement with five individual shareholders of Lishui Tantech Energy Tech Co., Ltd. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
