On July 25, 2019, Southern National Bancorp of Virginia, Inc. (“Southern National”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2019.  A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.

On July 25, 2019, Southern National issued a press release announcing the declaration of a dividend payable to shareholders of record as of August 12, 2019.  A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
