integrated circuits, today announced the results of its annual meeting
of shareholders held on June 19, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Shareholders of Simtek approved the following proposals:
Re-election of five directors to Simtek’s
board of directors, each to serve until the 2009 annual meeting of
shareholders and until their successors have been duly elected and
qualified. The re-elected directors include: Harold A. Blomquist,
Robert C. Pearson, Alfred J. Stein, John Hillyard and Philip Black.
Ratification of the selection of Hein & Associates LLP as Simtek’s
independent registered public accounting firm for the year ending
December 31, 2008.
Evaluation of Strategic Alternatives
Shareholders have expressed questions regarding a potential strategic
transaction involving the Company. On April 11, 2008, we announced that
we remain committed to building value for all of our stockholders and
that we will continue to explore various strategic alternatives in order
