Simtek Announces Exclusive North American Distribution Agreement With Future Electronics

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 24  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Simtek Corporation (NASDAQ:SMTK), the inventor, pioneer, and world's leading supplier of nonvolatile static random access memory (nvSRAM) integrated circuits, today announced a new exclusive distribution agreement with Future Electronics.  Future will promote, supply and support Simtek products throughout North America, expanding product access and support options for customers in the region.

Future has been a key worldwide distributor for Simtek since early 2000, and is a world-class leader and innovator in the distribution and marketing of semiconductors and passive, interconnect and electro-mechanical components.

The agreement joins Simtek's unique nvSRAM products for the industrial, robotic, medical, data storage, and military markets with Future's regional strength, technical resources and cutting edge portfolio of complementary technology and product lines.
