On December 13, 2018, Erik Ostrowski provided notice of his resignation as chief financial officer of Summit Therapeutics plc (the “Company”). Mr. Ostrowski’s resignation will become effective on December 28, 2018. The related U.K. announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

The Company will appoint a new chief financial officer in due course.
