Item 8.01.  Other Events.

On January 19, 2021, the Board of Directors of Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) declared its 107^th consecutive quarterly dividend on common stock since the inception of the Company, increasing the quarterly dividend to $0.16 per common share, payable February 26, 2021, to stockholders of record at the close of business on February 12, 2021.

In other matters, the Company expects to release its preliminary operating results for the quarter ended December 31, 2020, on January 25, 2021, and expects to host a conference call to discuss the release on January 26, 2021, at 3:30 p.m., central time. The call will be available live to interested parties by calling 1-888-339-0709 in the United States (Canada: 1-855-669-9657, international: 1-412-902-4189). Participants should ask to be joined into the Southern Missouri Bancorp (SMBC) call. Telephone playback will be available beginning one hour following the conclusion of the call through February 8, 2021.
